Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Transporter to move patients and equipment between departments within the Medical Center. You’ll perform various patient-related tasks and ensure safety and proper body mechanics at all times.

Use Epic software to track patient locations and equipment movement while collaborating with coworkers across departments. A High School Diploma or equivalent and BLS CPR/AED certification are required, with at least two years of customer service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years customer service experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS CPR/AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and equipment safely between departments.
• Perform patient-related activities as assigned with proper body mechanics.
• Maintain PAR levels for equipment across locations.
• Use Epic to track patient location and equipment movement.
