Bayhealth is seeking a Patient Transport Technician II to support Sussex Campus Hospital in Milford. You will move patients and equipment efficiently, maintain safety, and provide excellent customer service in a busy hospital setting.

This full-time role offers day shifts, competitive benefits, and on-site opportunities for growth. Requires HS diploma, BLS within 90 days, and 6 months of customer service experience; prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Credential: Basic Life Support - Within 90 days, if not already obtained.
• Experience: Six (6) months of customer service experience; Preferred: Previous experience in an acute care facility.

Responsabilités

• Moves patients and equipment between hospital areas.
• Maintains safety, quality, and infection control standards.
• Provides patient transportation, transfers, and positioning assistance.
• Cleans and processes equipment and prepares for patient use.
• Uses equipment to transport patients and ensures patient safety during transport.
• Observes patient conditions for signs and emergencies.
