Sarasota Memorial Health Care System seeks a patient transport associate to support multiple patient care departments by transporting patients throughout the facility. The role requires BLS within 90 days of hire and ongoing availability for weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

Preferred candidates will have strong English communication, customer service experience, and a cooperative attitude to ensure compassionate patient interactions throughout the hospital.

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer demonstrated ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Prefer experience in customer service/relations-related positions, preferably within the healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Prefer amiable personality and a willing and cooperative attitude.
• Prefer demonstrated use appropriate customer service skills and judgment when in contact with patients, the public, and other staff members.

Preferred Education

HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
