Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with no violations within three years from date of hire or transfer.
• American Heart CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients safely using appropriate devices according to age/condition.
• Ensuring patient privacy and dignified transport.
• Coordinating cleaning and disinfecting of transportation equipment per SPD protocols.
• Maintaining inventory of transportation equipment and supplies such as oxygen tanks.
• Assisting with movement of patients from transport vehicle.
• Responding to transport requests promptly and communicating through the clinical information system.
• Assisting with pickup, delivery and distribution of materials, supplies, reports, specimens, stock, mail, and paychecks across the Health System.
