Job summary

Southeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Transporter to support patient transport, oxygen, meds, and specimens across our sites in Georgia. You will maintain transport equipment and inventory while upholding patient privacy and dignity throughout all movements.

Responsibilities include safe patient transport with proper securing, assisting with mobility, responding to transport requests promptly, and collaborating with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with no violations within 3 years from date of hire.
• American Heart CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely using appropriate device according to age/condition.
• Assist with patient movement from the transport vehicle.
