Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience in patient care preferred.
• Able to interact positively with patients and hospital personnel.
• Able to record information from transport software legibly.

Responsibilities

• Move patients safely to and from clinical units using wheelchair, stretcher or bed.
• Respond to alerts to prevent ED diversion and support OR PACU holds.
• Assist with disasters as directed and follow established policies.
