Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is hiring a Driver to transport patients to and from the Kingwood Pines Hospital facility, ensuring safety and cleanliness. The role includes maintaining vehicle readiness and logs, and coordinating with staff on patient care issues.

The driver will uphold high service standards, participate in patient safety practices, and support daily operations across outpatient services. A valid Texas driver’s license and CPR training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year transportation experience preferred, especially patient transport.
• Must maintain a valid Texas driver’s license for transporting patients.
• CPR training and crisis intervention familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Maintain van log with updated addresses and phone numbers.
• Communicate with staff about patient care information and issues.
• Report vehicle maintenance problems to the Director, Outpatient Services.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Participate in the therapeutic relationship with patients as required.
