Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Patient Transporter. You will document patient trips, transport patients to and from care areas, and assist with patient movement and safety during shifts. Prior customer service experience and basic computer skills are preferred in a healthcare environment.

The role requires CPR/BLS certification and physical ability to lift equipment and patients as needed, with rotating weekends/holidays and full-time hours.

Formación

• On the job training provided for patient transport tasks.
• Basic computer experience expected for Hospital Throughput system.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in healthcare settings.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Document patient trips using Hospital Throughput system.
• Transport patients to/from care areas and assist as needed.
• Coordinate with nurses and care teams to ensure timely departures.
• Assist patients in/out of beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and report equipment issues to management.
