Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely between departments following transfer techniques.
• Assist with patient handling using safety equipment and procedures.
• Distribute requested items between departments as needed.
• Respond to job calls promptly and provide status updates to staff.
• Collect, clean and disinfect patient care equipment and reusable items.
• May restock supplies or perform clerical duties in the area.
• May operate a golf cart for distribution services.
• May transport deceased persons to the facility morgue.
• Provide patient-centered service with a focus on meeting staff, patient, and visitor needs.
