As part of Banner Staffing Services-AZ, you will work varying shifts, with weekend and holiday rotations possible. The role emphasizes strong patient service, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with nursing and clinical staff.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Interpersonal skills to operate in direct patient contact environment.
• Ability to interpret verbal and written information and communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills and organization in a fast-paced environment.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients safely between departments following transfer techniques and infection control procedures.
• Assists with patient handling using appropriate safety equipment.
• Provides distribution services of requested items between departments, including medications.
• Responds to job calls promptly and updates status in the system.
• Collects, cleans and disinfects patient care equipment and reusable items.
• May restock supplies or perform clerical duties as needed.
