Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to assist with safe patient transport inside the hospital and to and from vehicles. You will move equipment such as wheelchairs and stretchers, help patients comfortable during departures, and ensure cleanliness and readiness of transport devices.

The role emphasizes exceptional patient experiences, adherence to safety protocols, and cooperation with hospital teams.

Qualifications

Entry level position requiring ability to provide outstanding, caring service to patients.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
High School Diploma or GED required; vaccinations as required by institution.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient experiences by prioritizing service, care, and satisfaction.
Maintain safety as a top priority for patients and hospital staff.
Keep transport equipment clean and functional; move wheelchairs and stretchers as needed.
Deliver specimens to laboratories when required.
Assist patients in smooth departure from rooms and coordination with transport staff.
Communicate clearly with patients and valet staff to ensure a smooth transition to the vehicle.
Report incidents per institutional and VPNE policies.
Follow established policies, procedures, and workflows with the assigned institution.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
