Responsibilities include transporting patients, maintaining wheelchairs and stretchers, and coordinating with staff to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Make service, care, and satisfaction the priority in every interaction by providing exceptional patient experiences.
• Practice and ensure safety as a top priority at all times for all patients, hospital teams and peer coworkers.
• Maintains the cleanliness and working order of transport equipment.
• Delivers specimens to the laboratories as necessary.
• Engage with the patient to ensure that departure from the room is smooth and comfortable.
• Communicate consistently and appropriately with patient and valet staff to ensure the patient has a smooth transition to the vehicle.
• Report all incidents in accordance with institutional and company policies.
• Adhere to the policies, procedures and appropriate workflows (based technology used and personal communication), as agreed upon between the institution and the company.
• Perform any other duties specifically assigned by a supervisor or manager.
