Job summary

ReliaRide in Hartville, OH seeks an Ambulatory Driver to transport patients to and from medical facilities, ensuring safety and comfort while keeping accurate pickup/drop-off records. You will follow scheduled routes and communicate with dispatch and management to deliver timely service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 2 years of driving experience required.
• Pass physical, TB test, and screenings.
• Pass alcohol and drug tests.
• Pass FBI/BCI background check.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assist patients (not lift) for door-to-door service.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from medical appointments safely and on time.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation.
• Maintain accurate records of pick-up/drop-off times and odometer readings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch and management.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Transport all patients without discrimination.
• Follow schedule and routes shown on tablet and routing system.
• Report incidents and accidents to dispatch and supervisor; perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

Valid driver's license

2 years of driving experience

Pre-employment physical and TB test

Pre-employment alcohol and drug test

Pre-employment FBI/BCI background
