Job summary

Select Medical in Lake St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Patient Transport (Van Driver) to support outpatient rehabilitation facilities. This full-time role features a split shift, 6:30A–11:30A and 1:00P–6:00P, with compensation at $18/hour plus experience-based increases.

You will drive, pick up and deliver between facilities, and assist with daily admin tasks. Responsibilities include transporting patients to appointments, maintaining vehicles, coordinating upkeep, and assisting with interfacility

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Direct patient care experience is required.
• Class E Driver's License is required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a driver is required.
• Schedule flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives the company vehicles in a safe manner according to the written schedule.
• Maintains company vehicles in a clean condition, interior and exterior at all times.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance schedule, reports problems with vehicles to supervisor.
• Assist with the transport of furniture and supplies between facilities.
• Transports patients from patient homes to designated facility for appointments.
• Delivers interoffice mail to the appropriate facility at designated times.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Must be able to utilize the computer to search for directions and location information.
• Must be able to utilize GPS.
• Route Planning.
