Job summary

Select Medical in Florissant, MO is seeking a Patient Transport FLOAT (Van Driver) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team. You will drive company vehicles between facilities, assist with daily operations, and support the administration team.

The full-time role offers a Monday–Friday split-shift schedule with 6:30 AM–11:30 AM and 1:00 PM–6:00 PM, float requirements for 10 Day Institutes, and opportunities for growth. Compensation starts at $18/hour with increases based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Direct patient care experience required.
• Class E Driver's License
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a driver required.
• Schedule flexibility

Responsibilities

• Drives the company vehicles in a safe manner according to the written schedule.
• Maintains company vehicles in a clean condition, interior and exterior at all times.
• Coordinates vehicle maintenance schedule, reports problems with vehicles to supervisor.
• Assist with the transport of furniture and supplies between facilities.
• Transports patients from patient homes to designated facility for appointments.
• Delivers interoffice mail to the appropriate facility at designated times.
• Must be computer proficient.
• Must be able to utilize the computer to search for directions and location information.
• Must be able to utilize GPS.
• Route Planning.

Overview

Position: Patient Transport- FLOAT(Van Driver)

Location: Florissant, MO

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday Split Shift 6:30A-11:30A and then from 1:00P-6:00PCompensation:$18/hour increases based on experience

Float Drivers will be required to float to any of the 10 different Day Institutes as needed.
