Job summary

Ohio State University Medical Center seeks a Patient Transporter for the East Hospital - Main campus. You will transport patients, deliver specimens, and support the care team, while maintaining carts and equipment. You will also document transport activities and assist with package deliveries as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read and write simple sentences.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide whole numbers).
• Healthcare/service-experience in acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and observe/report patient actions to care team.
• Clean and maintain patient transport carts, wheelchairs, and related equipment.
• Complete transport logs and related documentation; deliver specimens and care items.
• Assist in receipt/delivery of packages as needed.
