Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus is seeking a Patient Transporter for the East Hospital campus. This regular, full-time role supports patient movement and equipment management on site.

You will transport patients, observe and report to patient care and leadership teams, maintain transport carts and wheels, and assist with deliveries of specimens and related items. Background checks and possible drug screen may apply.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients as assigned and reports actions to patient care and/or leadership team members.
• Cleans and maintains patient transport carts, wheelchairs, and related mobile equipment and work areas; completes transport logs and related documentation.
• Delivers specimens and related patient care items; assists in the receipt/delivery of packages as needed.
