Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Transportation Support Specialist to safely transport patients to medical appointments and other destinations while supporting patient care activities. The role requires attention to safety, organization, and reliable communication within the hospital transport team.

The position is full-time, 32 hours per week, with a starting pay of $16 per hour. CPR certification and a clean driving record are required, and experience in transportation or healthcare is

Competenze

• Must have: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Experience in transportation or healthcare.
• CPR certification.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Comfortable using technology (training provided if needed).

Mansioni

• Transport patients & staff to medical appointments, treatments, and other locations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks to ensure readiness and safety.
• Manage patient belongings during admissions, visitation, and discharge.
• Monitor patient safety and document activities as required.
• Report any transportation incidents or concerns to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other departments regarding patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Take on additional duties when transportation demand is low.
