Job summary

Recovery Centers of America is seeking a Transportation Support Specialist for Bracebridge Hall. This PRN role requires weekend availability and 10-hour round-trip transports to medical appointments and other destinations.

Responsibilities include safely transporting patients, performing daily vehicle checks, managing patient belongings, monitoring safety, and coordinating with other departments. A valid driver's license, high school diploma, CPR certification, and good multitasking skills are

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: experience in transportation or healthcare.
• CPR certification.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Comfortable using technology (training provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Transport patients & staff to medical appointments and other locations.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
• Manage patient belongings during admissions, visits, and discharge.
• Monitor patient safety and document relevant activities.
• Handle incidents and report transportation issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other departments on admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Take on additional duties when transportation needs are low.
