Wellstar is seeking a Unit Support Associate to assist with safe patient transport within our healthcare facilities. The role supports the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and Transport Manager, helping move patients to ED, Radiology, and test areas while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and strong communication. BLS certification is required upon hire. PRN as needed, day shift with weekends as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• BLS or ARC-BLS certification required upon hire.
• Prefer hospital/medical experience.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Transport patients to and from departments (ED, Radiology, test areas).
• Verify patient identification and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Assist with equipment handling and patient movement.
• Maintain cleanliness of transport equipment and stock supplies.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and health care team.
