Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and disinfecting procedures on transportation equipment used by the department.
• Record transportation data electronically or on logs used by the department.
• Deliver supplies, equipment, medication and other materials to patient units and other designated areas safely and timely.
• Report the status of transportation activities and any abnormal activities to the manager.
• Transport patients and adjunct equipment between patient units and treatment centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain a courteous, professional demeanor with patients, visitors, hospital personnel and colleagues.
