Job summary

San Marcos Treatment Center seeks a Driver to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments. You will maintain patient safety through continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling while ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of transportation experience preferred, a valid license for patient transport, CPR and Handle with Care certifications, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of transportation experience preferred.
• Valid license as required for transportation of patients.
• CPR and Handle with Care certifications; may be obtained during orientation.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record; reside within 30 minutes of facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility.
• Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director.
• Communicate with the Department Director and staff regarding patient care information.
• Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times.
• Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
