Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Transportation Aide to provide safe and efficient movement of patients and supplies within The Brigham and Women’s Hospital. You will help ensure timely delivery of messages, documents, and other items to every department to support patient care and smooth operations.

Responsibilities include escorting patients to exam rooms, observing safety and mobility needs, following established transport protocols (wheelchairs, stretchers), and safeguarding confidentiality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare or customer service preferred (1–2 years).

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to and from locations within the facility.
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients during transport.
• Follow transport protocols for equipment like wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Receive and prioritize messages, documents, and supplies for delivery.
