Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a patient transporter to move patients to various locations throughout the hospital, including wheelchair and stretcher transfers. Evening shift, onsite at 55 Fruit Street, 28 hours per week.

You will assist patients, ensure comfort and safety, deliver specimens and equipment, and coordinate with the scheduling system. Requires high school diploma and 0-1 year of customer service experience; lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients or lift patients into wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Transport patients to hospital locations for procedures.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and safe during transit.
• Monitor scheduling system for transport requests and complete them promptly.
• Deliver laboratory specimens, medical equipment, supplies, and mail.
