Patient Tech - Surgical Inpatient

Full Time - Evening - 36 Hours

Qualified PCTs, take your career to the next level with Johns Hopkins Medicine. We are seeking PCTs with inpatient/hospital experience to work at Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Minimal requirements include:

• High school diploma
• A Maryland CNA License
• At least 1 year of hospital-based experience in the last 2 years
• Proficient in phlebotomy, starting IVs, EKG
• Additional terms and conditions apply. External applicants only; current JHM and Intrastaff employees are excluded from this bonus.

The Johns Hopkins Hospital Surgical Inpatient / IMC Unit (Zayed 11 West) is a 32-bed surgical unit caring for adolescent and adult patients. The unit offers three levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care beds. Care includes Thoracic Surgery, Urology, and general surgery patients.

Clinical Technicians provide skilled, compassionate, patient- and family-centered care as part of the healthcare team. Ongoing education and training are provided, including eight days of off-unit training during your first year to support your development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Maryland
• One year of clinical experience in relevant settings within the last two years
• BLS CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network)
