Job summary

Valley Health Systems Inc is seeking a Patient Support & Care Coordination Manager to oversee patient support and care coordination functions at our Huntington, WV site. You will ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered coordination of referrals, authorizations, scheduling, HIM, benefit verification, and procedure coordination.

You will supervise staff, define KPIs, and prepare operational reports for leadership while partnering with providers, front office, billing, HIM, and IT for process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience required; 1–3 years of leadership preferred.
• Experience with referrals, authorizations, scheduling, HIM, revenue cycle, care coordination, or patient access preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic and Microsoft Office; ability to analyze reports to drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management and direction for the Patient Support & Care Coordination Team.
• Ensure standardized workflows and regulatory compliance across departments.
• Monitor workload and allocate assignments to maintain service levels.
• Lead process improvements and KPI monitoring.
• Collaborate with providers, front office, billing, HIM, IT/Epic teams and leadership.
• Prepare operational reports for leadership.
• Serve as subject matter expert for referrals, authorizations, scheduling, HIM, and benefit verification.
