The role requires a high school diploma and 2 years in an office or healthcare environment, with hospital experience preferred. This is a full-time position with a day shift and benefits including 401k and PTO.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of experience in an office or healthcare environment.
• Hospital experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess incoming patient information to determine bed placement based on medical needs and bed availability.
• Collaborate with administrative supervisors, Patient Logistics, Patient Access, Nursing staff, and physicians to ensure proper patient placement.
• Maintain expertise in bed management systems to resolve bed assignment conflicts.
• Perform quick registration and notify physicians, patients and nursing administration of pertinent information.
• Drive best practices and SOPs to enhance efficiency and patient care.
• Collaborate with nursing leaders and department leaders to fill scheduling gaps.
• Coordinate real-time on-demand and future staffing for Texas Health entities and partners.
• Manage staffing schedules, availability, assignments, and call-ins using staffing software and SharePoint.
