Job summary

Dartmouth Health in New Hampshire is hiring a Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech to support nursing staff on the unit. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, you will assist patients with mobility, help with eating, and provide a safe, clean, and well-supplied environment.

Qualifications

• Assist with patient mobility and education; provide 1:1 sit for patients when required.
• May perform clerical duties and tasks to maintain a safe, well-supplied unit.
• Support a culture of positivity and enthusiasm on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobility opportunities and education to various patients.
• Assist patients accessing the facility and setting up for eating.
• Perform patient sitting for 1:1 care as needed.
• Perform other duties as required to support the unit.

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, provide nursing unit with efficient and appropriate assistance with selected patient and unit needs. May also perform a variety of clerical duties and various tasks to provide a well-supplied, safe, and clean patient unit.

The Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech will provide mobility opportunities and education to various patients. They will offer assistance accessing our facilityand help set patients up for eating. They will performpatient sitting for patients requiring 1:1. It is important they encourage a culture of positivity and enthusiasm. The Patient Sitter/Mobility Techwill also perform other duties as required.
