Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech to support the Nurse Manager by assisting the nursing unit with patient and unit needs. The role includes patient mobility, meal setup, and 1:1 supervision, while fostering a positive and enthusiastic culture.

Additional duties may include clerical tasks and other responsibilities to ensure a safe, well-equipped, clean patient area. Full-time position, evening shifts, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with patient mobility and safety support.
• Ability to assist with feeding setup and mobility tasks.
• Willingness to perform clerical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobility opportunities and education to patients.

Job description

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, provide nursing unit with efficient and appropriate assistance with selected patient and unit needs. May also perform a variety of clerical duties and various tasks to provide a well-supplied, safe, and clean patient unit.

The Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech will provide mobility opportunities and education to various patients. They will offer assistance accessing our facilityand help set patients up for eating. They will performpatient sitting for patients requiring 1:1. It is important they encourage a culture of positivity and enthusiasm. The Patient Sitter/Mobility Techwill also perform other duties as required.

• Pay Range: $17 – $26.35;
