Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking a Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech to support nursing staff on our unit in Keene, NH. Working 32 hours per week, you will cover the 2:30 PM–11:00 PM shift four days per week, providing 1:1 patient sitting and mobility assistance to promote safety and comfort.

You will also help patients access the facility, assist with eating preparations, and perform related duties to maintain a clean, well-supplied unit while fostering a positive, enthusiastic culture.

Job description

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, provide nursing unit with efficient and appropriate assistance with selected patient and unit needs. May also perform a variety of clerical duties and various tasks to provide a well-supplied, safe, and clean patient unit.

The Patient Sitter/Mobility Tech will provide mobility opportunities and education to various patients. They will offer assistance accessing our facilityand help set patients up for eating. They will performpatient sitting for patients requiring 1:1. It is important they encourage a culture of positivity and enthusiasm. The Patient Sitter/Mobility Techwill also perform other duties as required.
