Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT, is seeking a Patient Transport team member to transport designated in-patients and out-patients and to support a safe, efficient hospital environment.
The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent, good English listening/comprehension skills, and a minimum of six months' experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus. Compensation is hourly with a broad range reflecting shifted coverage and departmental needs.

Brings patients to and from their designated testing centers, delivers equipment to the nursing floors, and removes/delivers blood products or sterile supplies.
HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
High School Diploma or GED required.
Required: Must understand and speak conversational English and possess listening and comprehension skills. Must be able to work with young, elderly, sick and physically challenged people.
Minimum Experience: six months
Desired: Bilingual desired.
Manual: Some manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity
Occupational: Some occupational risk
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
Physical Environment: Some exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
