Job summary

A leading-edge medical laboratory testing company in Wisconsin is seeking a Patient Services Tech Specialist. The candidate will perform blood and urine sample collections and ensure compliance with safety standards. Required qualifications include a High School Diploma and Phlebotomy Certification with 2+ years of relevant experience. This position offers a contract of approximately 3 months with a pay rate dependent on experience, working Monday to Thursday and half-days on Fridays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Legal authorization to work in the US required.
• Legal Authorization to Work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collection by various techniques.
• Collect urine samples and conduct drug screenings.
• Educate and train employees on compliance and safety.
• Lifework: LC/ Cyber Tools and TestCup usage
• Pediatric Blood Collections
• Difficult draws from patients in various facilities
• Provide orientation and training to others
• Administrative duties: answer telephones, maintain logs, organize, manage time, research information, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications
• Operate personal computer

• Blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Urine drug screen collections
• Paternity collections
• LCM/Cyber Tools
• TestCup
• Pediatric Blood Collections
• Difficult draws (patients in various facilities)
• Must have comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees
• Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training
• Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
• Operate personal computer

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+yrsExperience
• Phlebotomy Certification with 2+ yrs Experience
• Normally requires a Valid Driver’s License, along with a clean driving record; may qualify as a floater
• Legal Authorization to Work in the US

Additional Information

• Pay Rate:DOE
• 3+/-Month Contract
• Shift: Monday-Thursday, 8AM to 5PM, Friday 8AM to 2PM (3rd week ofeach month, Fridays are 8AM-Noon and works Saturday 8AM-Noon)**
