Job summary

A leading medical laboratory testing company in Kernersville, NC is seeking a Patient Services Tech Specialist. This role involves performing blood collections, conducting urine drug screens, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Ideal candidates should have a High School diploma, Phlebotomy Certification with 2+ years of experience, and a valid Driver’s License. The shift is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, and the position is for a 3-month contract with pay dependent on experience.

Job Description

• Blood collection by venipuncture and capillary technique from patients of all age groups
• Urine drug screen collections
• Paternity collections
• LCM/Cyber Tools
• TestCup
• Pediatric Blood Collections
• Difficult draws (patients in various facilities)
• Must have comprehensive understanding of compliance and safety, and is able to effectively communicate the importance of compliance and safety to other employees
• Possess the ability and skills necessary to provide orientation and training
• Administrative: Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
• Operate personal computer

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+yrsExperience
• Phlebotomy Certification with 2+ yrs Experience
• Requires a Valid Driver’s License, along with a clean driving record
• Legal Authorization to Work in the US
