Job summary

The MaineHealth family, including Maine Medical Center, is seeking a Patient Services Support Technician II to transport patients and equipment, stock and maintain equipment and supplies, and provide leadership through training and daily assignment scheduling.

As lead, you will ensure availability of equipment and supplies while guiding a team to deliver best-in-class care. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in installments; eligibility constraints apply for current MaineHealth employees.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Patient Services Support Technician I role.

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients and equipment.
  • Stock and perform general maintenance of equipment and supplies.
  • Provide leadership and training to team, and schedule daily assignments.

Current MaineHealth employees not eligible for the sign on bonus. Must be separated from MaineHealth system for 6months to be eligible.


Summary

The Patient Services Support Technician II role is responsible for transporting patients and equipment and the stocking and general maintenance of certain equipment and supplies. As a lead this position will provide leadership and support through training, daily assignment scheduling and ensuring that equipment and supplies are available.


Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)


  1. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

  2. License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

  3. Experience: Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of a Patient Services Support Technician I role.
