Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Patient Services Support Technician I at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME for the Evening shift. The role supports patient care by transporting patients and equipment and by stocking related supplies.

You will act as a friendly point of contact for patients, families, and visitors during transport, ensuring safety and efficiency. A high school diploma or GED and BLS are required or must be obtained within 30 days.

Responsibilities

  • Transport patients and equipment between departments and rooms.
  • Stock and maintain equipment and supplies used in patient transport.
  • Serve as a courteous contact for patients, family, and visitors during transport.

Summary

The Patient Services Support Technician I role is responsible for providing services to support patient care by transporting patients and equipment, stocking and maintaining certain equipment and supplies, and serving as a contact for patients, family, and visitors during patient transportation.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
