Heritage Health in Post Falls, Idaho, is hiring a full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support patient check-in/check-out, coordinate scheduling, and manage insurance and Medicaid verifications. The role collaborates with medical staff to maintain efficient patient visits in a busy clinic.

The CSR will ensure accurate demographic data, collect co-pays, and uphold HIPAA standards while delivering compassionate, professional service to patients and families.

Competenze

• Minimum of two years of office experience; medical preferred.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Check in clients and update demographics, including insurance information.
• Verify Medicaid at each visit and obtain Healthy Connections authorization if needed.
• Ensure each account has a DMS screen and verify homeless and migrant/seasonal status.
• Answer multi-line phone system; take messages and deliver to providers.
• Schedule appointments using the practice management system.
• Make reminder calls for all scheduled clients.
• Collect co-pays; direct non-payers to billing/collections staff.
• Check out clients; organize charts; track no-shows and follow protocols.
• Handle self-pay appointments through Medicaid system to check coverage.
• Maintain waiting room cleanliness and order; perform general clerical duties.
