Responsibilities

• Adheres to HIPAA and 42CFR and maintains confidentiality.
• Monitors and maintains proficiency with all forms of communication used by the Health Center.
• Answers phone calls and retrieves messages professionally.
• Uses translation services for non-English callers.
• Schedules appointments using templates to minimize errors.
• Registers patients over the phone ensuring data integrity.
• Promotes use of the patient portal and assists with basic portal issues.
• Outreach to patients for follow-up care.
• Records and processes patient payments through a third-party system.
• Completes special projects to support staff.
