Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle is hiring a Patient Services Specialist 2 for the Nephrology Center - Northwest. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week role is on-site with a day shift, Monday through Friday, to support clinics and patient care.

You will handle patient communications, schedule appointments, collect demographic and financial information, and work with the clinic team to ensure exceptional service and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and one year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging.
• Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments.
• Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information.
• Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery.
• Other duties as requested.
