Responsibilities
  • Answering phones promptly and courteously, screening and routing calls, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
  • Assisting with indexing patient documents and routing electronic faxes appropriately.
  • Supporting other duties as needed during downtime and as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent customer and patient service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Proficiency with computer programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to train and perform on practice management software
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures
Minimum Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
  • At least one year of medical office experience
  • Bilingual skills a plus
  • Experience with contact centers and insurance processes
