Key Responsibilities:

• Answering calls courteously, screening, routing, and documenting in the electronic medical record.
• Indexing patient documents correctly.
• Routing electronic faxes and uploading to patient charts.
• Supporting other duties as needed during downtime.
• Performing all other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer/patient service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Proficiency with computer programs.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to train and perform on practice management software, with ongoing learning.
• Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Experience:

• At least one year of medical office experience.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience with contact centers and basic phone handling.
• Knowledge of insurance plans and referral processes.
