Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors, answers calls, screens inquiries and takes messages.
• Registers patients, verifies insurance and collects payments as needed.
• Schedules appointments and communicates test preparations and directions.
• Updates insurance and demographic data; posts payments and reconciles balances.
• Manages patient flow and assists with accommodations and directions as required.
• Follows up on registration issues and ensures accurate records.
