Job summary

Valley Health Partners, located at the Patient Resource Center in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Patient Services Scheduler to coordinate appointments, procedures, and exams for a VHPCHC service line. You will deliver friendly, accurate scheduling support to patients, physicians, and staff while using EMR and scheduling systems.

Excellent communication and data-entry skills are essential. No prior healthcare scheduling experience is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Diploma or related field preferred.
• No prior healthcare or scheduling experience required.
• Customer service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient scheduling for appointments, procedures, and exams.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, physician offices, and staff.
• Assist with scheduling needs and coordination across service lines.
• Flex to float to other locations based on business needs.
• Maintain confidentiality and accurate data entry.

Patient Services Scheduler

Location: Patient Resource Center, Valley Health Partners, Allentown, PA

Coordinates patient scheduling activities including appointments, procedures, and exams for one VHPCHC service line. Provides excellent customer service while assisting patients, physician offices, and staff with scheduling needs and appointment coordination.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Customer service experience is a plus.

• Ability to learn scheduling systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
