Job summary

CRH Healthcare is seeking a part-time Patient Services Representative for our urgent care clinics in Maryland. You will greet patients, check them in, verify insurance, collect copays, and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires friendly, enthusiastic individuals with strong customer service and communication skills. Shifts are two 12-hour periods with rotating weekends, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of reception/front desk experience (coordinator, receptionist, clerk, agent, specialist, etc.).
• Customer service experience in a healthcare outpatient setting preferred.
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts during the week or weekend as needed. Ability to escort or transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher when needed.
• Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Types 25 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Promptly greet patients and visitors in the waiting area in a friendly and helpful manner.

• Serve as a patient advocate to provide world-class care in coordination with clinical staff and providers.
• Promptly answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain a neat and orderly waiting room.
• Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties, including obtaining wheelchairs and provide assistance with walking.
• Responsible for opening and closing clinic procedures and reporting.
• Perform additional clerical duties as necessary.

Patriot Urgent Care Care is a leading urgent care operator in the state of Maryland. Our mission is to provide the perfect patient experience so our patients can “Get in. Get out. Get better”. We are currently seeking a Patient Services Representative for our urgent care clinics.

The Patient Services Representative provides excellent customer service to patients and clerical support to clinical staff. Employees in this role are the first point of contact with patients. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, friendly and has strong customer service and communication skills.

This position is a part time position where you will be working two 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends.
