Avera Health is seeking a PRN patient access specialist for the Avera St. Mary's Oncology Clinic. You will welcome patients, complete registration, verify demographics and insurance, and collect payments to ensure smooth access to care.
In this role you will verify insurance, obtain consents, scan documents, handle calls and scheduling, and coordinate with nurses, physicians and staff to expedite care while upholding Avera’s CARE values and commitment to compassionate service.
Location: Avera Cancer Institute-Pierre Worker Type: PRN Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience. $18.00 - $23.25

Works in the various reception areas throughout the Clinic and is responsible for helping the patients to access the Clinic's system for care.

High School or GED Equivalent or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
