Key Responsibilities
  1. Warm Welcome: Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
  2. Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while managing patient and business documents.
  3. Insurance Verification: Verify eligibility and explain billing/billing policies.
  4. Financial Responsibility: Determine and collect patient payments transparently.
  5. Team Support: Assist staff to ensure smooth operations.
  6. Compliance: Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
  7. Travel: Support staffing needs at other locations as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certification is a plus.
  • 1+ year experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking skills.
  • Experience with EMR software, EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proactive, friendly, patient-focused team player.
