Join Piedmont Urgent Care as a Patient Service Representative (PSR) and be the first point of contact in providing a welcoming and efficient patient experience. Your role is essential in ensuring seamless front-office operations while making a meaningful impact on those we serve.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist all patients and visitors with a positive attitude, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
  • Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing important patient and business documents.
  • Verify insurance benefits, eligibility, and explain payment policies and billing information.
  • Determine and collect each patient's financial responsibility, ensuring transparency about costs.
  • Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Enforce healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Support staffing needs by traveling to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate is a plus.
  • 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience with EMR software, EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
  • Proactive, friendly, and patient-focused attitude.
