Performs general business office functions that may include some or all of the following: Check patients in for surgery, collect payment, prepare patient surgery charts, communicating with patient and family members.; insurance verification and eligibility; insurance pre-authorization/pre-certifications.
Ensures patients' demographic, insurance, and medical information are correct and entered into the system in an accurate and timely manner.
Registers patients in the system. Collects patient payment due at the time of service. Checks patients in for surgery.
As needed, this position will assist with patient care.
