Job summary

Midwest ENT is seeking a Patient Services Representative to join our front desk team. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect demographics and insurance information to ensure a smooth registration process.

This role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel between three clinic locations. Prior customer service or medical office experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness and ability to travel between all three clinic locations.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 1+ year customer service or reception experience.
• 1+ year medical office experience.
• 1+ year experience using an EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and schedule all providers and patient appointments.
• Prepare patient charts during check in.
• Greet patients and maintain an efficient registration process.
• Obtain and enter demographic and insurance information into the system.
• Collect co-pays shown on patient accounts.
• Schedule patients accurately and effectively for appointments.
• Notify patients of collection policies and procedures.
• Take accurate and complete phone messages for providers and staff.
• Route calls to the appropriate department when needed.
• Notify staff when supplies are needed and follow standard supply protocol.
• Other duties as assigned.
