Job summary

Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Centers seeks a Patient Representative I to manage patient demographics, insurance data, and charges. The role greets patients, answers calls, and schedules appointments in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Under Site Coordinator supervision, you will ensure accurate EMR entries, maintain confidentiality, and support billing processes while providing compassionate service. Travel to other CRCHC sites and translation support may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and comprehend English; communicates effectively.
• Experience: One year or less of clerical experience in an office setting.
• Strong basic computer skills; maintain confidentiality; work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-quality customer service to patients, staff, and vendors.
• Report on time and organize patient flow.
• Enter patient registration information accurately into EMR.
• Explain the sliding scale program to patients and process applications.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient information.
• Adhere to scheduling protocols for all appointment types.
• Travel to other CRCHC sites as needed; assist with translation on request.
