Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Registration team member to obtain and verify patient data for outpatient registration and insurance verification. The role requires proactive communication and strong customer service to support patient experience.

Shifts vary, including early morning hours with weekend rotation. Department: REGISTRATION. Comprehensive benefits are provided for full-time and part-time staff, with a focus on accurate data handling and patient support.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge with the ability to work in multiple systems.
• Cerner experience preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Excellent phone and customer service experience required.

Summary:
Obtains complete, accurate and relevant patient data for the purpose of registration for the outpatient population; completes patient insurance verification.

Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent. Basic computer knowledge required with the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously. Cerner experience preferred. Previous healthcare experience preferred. Excellent phone and customer service experience required.

Work Shift Details:

Various, Primary Hours: Mix of 6a-230p, 630a-3p, 730a-4p
Primary days: Minimum 1-2 weekdays of availability with weekend rotation required. Ability to pick up additional days.
Rotation to multiple locations required.

The expected pay for this position is listed below:

$19.46 - $19.46
